Steve Lanier is a lifelong New Mexican, educator, and public servant from Aztec. After 28 years teaching and coaching at Aztec High School, Steve continued his commitment to service as a San Juan County Commissioner and State Senator. Now, he’s running for governor to build a stronger New Mexico—one that creates good jobs, improves education, supports law enforcement, and protects the values that make our state special. Steve and his wife, Sandra, are proud parents and grandparents who believe in hard work, family, and community.
